On November 17-18, 2016, just one week after Donald Trump won the Presidential Election, over 300 leaders from around the State of Florida gathered at the JW Marriott Orlando for the Fourth Annual Sayfie Review Florida Leaders Summit.
Headlining the event were keynote speakers Joe Scarborough from MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” and Jake Tapper from CNN’s “The Lead with Jake Tapper.”
The first day of the summit included roundtable discussions with the incoming Senate President (FL) Joe Negron and incoming House Speaker (FL) Richard Corcoran.
The Democratic Leaders Forum was presented by Mayor Bob Buckhorn, Mayor Philip Levine, and Senator Jeremy Ring. The Republican Leaders Forum was presented by former Speaker Will Weatherford, Representative Dana Young and Senator Jeff Brandes.
The mission of the Summit is “engaging Florida’s leaders, shaping Florida’s agenda, prospering Florida’s future.”
After an evening reception of networking, the Summit continued with live music from Kenny Chesney tribute band, Fast Forward.
Justin Sayfie’s memorable breakfast keynote address kicked off day two of the summit. Presentations from Andy Rosen, Michael O’Neil, Dan Gelber, Justin Kintz, Katie Harbath and Gabrielle Bosche followed.
